I generally don't show my milkers dry.  However, it is an excellent opportunity to have your does evaluated on conformation alone. 
Some does do not have the capacity of udder to be competitive in the show ring and yet they still have excellent traits to
offer to your breeding program.  Attachment, teat placement & size, and strength of medial.
